Wanted to let anybody looking for a drain cleaner know that this is the place to call. We call them every year or two when needed as I've given up on trying to unclog with snakes and liquids myself. Easter night our disposal clogged our cellar drain again so we called next morning, set up convenient time (for us) they could come later in day, and John arrived ready to go. He was done within an hour and left the work area cleaner than it was when he got here.

I want to thank you for resolving my drain issue. After dealing with an incompetent company the day prior who did not resolve the issue. I have used this company 3 times and have been extremely satisfied. They are extremely prompt and responsive, even on an early Sunday morning. The technicians are pleasant, competent and helpful. I wish all services companies were as good as this one!

This company rocks!  My home's main sewer line was clogged.  At 9 PM I called several drain cleaning companies with seemingly local numbers.  A few returned my call (one was from out of state) and said they would have a technician call me back.  I then called Drains By James.  They promptly returned my call, gave me a price up front (much more reasonable than all the others), and said they would be there in less than an hour.  The technician, John, was very professional, courteous, and friendly.  Prepared his work area, ran the router not just once, but several times and cleared the drain, and then cleaned up.  I highly recommend this company as they deliver the goods on time with a reasonable price.

Had a blocked main pipe over the weekend (of course!). Called in for a service and got a call back within 15 min form James who told me that the guy will be here within an hour. Joe C. was as my place in 30 min. He was very professional and it was all set and done in less than 30 min. Priced very reasonable taking in account it was a weekend. Recommend over other Roto and Mr "Looter" companies.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I have to share Drains By James with the world. About a month ago, I had a MAJOR sewage back up in my basement while my husband was away. I had no idea what to do. I called a well known drain company and got the most insane price I could ever imagine. Sticking with my gut, I called a few other companies, one of which was Drains By James. Their price was MUCH lower than the chain company and completely reasonable. I had called around lunch time, expecting it to be at least a few hours or the next day before someone could come out. There was a technician knocking at my door not even an hour later. He took care of the problem for me and educated me on how to avoid future problems. He was extremely neat and very personable. Between the fast and awesome service provided by the technician, the dollars saved and the ease of making an appointment, I would give Drains By James 10 stars if I could. I strongly suggest giving them a call over the big, chain companies. Thank you Drains By James for saving the day!

I had a nasty basement flooding issue a couple weeks ago and I was referred to Drains by James. When I called and described my situation, the woman on the phone said it sounded like a clogged grease trap and said she could send out technicians sometime in the next couple hours. They were at my house within an hour, took a look around, brought down their big snake thing, and cleared it out in about 20 minutes. The cost was over $100 but that seemed reasonable considering I didn't know what to do and wouldn't have wanted to get near that nasty grease trap anyway. Their work came with a 30 day guarantee and I haven't had any issues since their visit.
